Jen lives in rural Arizona with her husband Ammon, her 5 children and lots of dark chocolate. With a background in education and history, she loves being able to guide her children’s education in a variety of ways, including at times, homeschooling. She is a natural resource gatherer, and inspirational resources make her especially happy. An avid reader, she enjoys reading biographies, as well as historical and business classics with a side of clean Regency romance. In the past, she has also been a volunteer and occasional contributor for the organization Power of Moms.

Jessee is Jen’s sister and lives in California. She is wife to Wade, and mom to Ava, Finlee Lou, Talmage and Jolee. She openly shares about her struggle with infertility and losing Ava after only 3 months and Jo at 6 months. Jessee has always had a big heart, but these losses have made her even more sensitive to the needs of others. Her professional background includes sociology and working with troubled youth. She loves all things spicy, loves to be active, and adores restoring old furniture and homes.
Katie is Jen’s daughter. At 14, she is a budding author, and loves working on her novel(s). She also enjoys playing the piano and hanging out with friends. She is a big fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and all of the movies based on his books. She is a patient and kind long suffering older sister to four rowdy boys.
Though not a contributor in a formal sense, Grandma Cathy (or “Mom” to the Jessee and Jen) is the one who makes us aware of a lot of these resources. She filled our home with good things growing up, and can always be found snuggling and reading to the grandkids. She says a lot of wise things that we will often quote, and is our biggest cheerleader. Thanks Mom!
